The manufacturing process of surfboards

The process of making a surfboard mormally involves several steps.   

The first step is shaping the foam blank using a machine or by hand.   

Then, the blank is sanded to its final shape and given its rocker and rails.   

The next step is to reinforce the blank’s structure with fiberglass and resin to make it stronger and more durable. 

The board is then sanded again and coated with a layer of resin to make it smooth.   Finally, the board is finished with a design or artwork, and additional hardware such as fins and leash plugs are added.   

This manufacturing process requires specialized equipment, materials and experienced craftsmanship to ensure the end product is high-quality and functional for surfing.
